Maybe it's sarcasm for saying thanks alot for selling to IB so they can slow the board down and have ads on a site that takes paid membership. Has it gone downhill? I wouldn't go quite that far but it is NOWHERE near what it was when John owned the site.

He is saying thanks for the ads, the slow reponse time and the frequent outages. Also a lack of memberships cards, messed up galleries and other "new" features. PS Dell we tied!

Bob, that's hilarious! We must have hit submit at virtually the same time By the way, in case anybody is wondering, no, I won't be renewing my membership next time it comes up for renewal. WHen it was John running this place it was so much better and it felt good to know I was "supporting" the little guy. Now, the big box store swallowed up the mom and pop store and is taking away what we loved about it.

Holy dead thread Batman! I didn't even realize this was from 01. So the originally poster was being honest in saying "thanks Jonh!" yet we all took it as sarcasm after IB got their hands on John's work By the way, I want 2001 back.
