I took my car out for the first drive in about 2 weeks yesterday to go get it serviced before winter storage. While backing up out of the garage with the wheel fully turned to the right, I was a getting a noise that sounded like the tire was rubbing against somthing. First time I heard it, and did not think much about it. After getting back from the dealer, I tried it again and the noise was very pronounced. It did feel like the tires were slippping on the pavement and the tires was rubbing against the car someplace. This has never happpend before in the 8 months of ownership. I have not taken the wheels off or hit anything with the car. Anyone have any ideas? It is in storage for the winter now, but it will need to be fixed when the snow stops falling. Thanks in advance. John

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Was it damp when you put the car up? If so, you might have felt corrosion on the brake rotors. Just a thought.
C4? maybe the front dif was not allowing the tires to rotate are differant speeds causing a "skipping" ?????
It was, but then was driven 50 miles roundtrip. Was still doing it when I got back.
Ivangene, It is a c2, but that is what it felt like. It was more than just a slight rub.
