Picked this up from a real estate builder/developer : 2005 Ducati 999S with 4K miles on it. Paid less than half price. Looks really nice next to the Porsche. Who cares about the real estate slump ?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Very nice! I rode a friend's 999S and it was really sweet. Having owned several bikes (3 Ducatis) Ducatis are my favorite despite their premium.
very sweet....great home too...you live in smyrna by any chance? J
very nice. congrats. be careful on that thing.
Awsome bike also my favorite, enjoy and be safe.
Sweet! Be sure to keep it upright and beware the crazy drivers out there - any plans to get it on a track?
I had a ZX6 for a little while. Just Stupid fast! Be safe out there.
What's that big red thing in front of your Porsche? It's blocking the view.
Nice bike, great timing. How do you choose between the Ducati and your Porsche?
It's indeed a luxury problem. I used to not like Ducatis and actualy track raced an R1. Most probably it's getting older that drove me to this purchase. The bike is a totally different experience than the 'in your face' souped up Japanese bikes. Even mid corner the Ducati feels like I can make any correction. The Ohlins suspension feels planted. And then the sound ...intoxicating.
I just shudder when I think of the combination of Atlanta drivers and a defenseless Ducati. In the Trauma Bay we call them Donor-cycles. The good news is we get lots of practice treating the more common injuries: open femur fracture, traumatic amputation, liver laceration, traumatic brain injury....enjoy the new toy!!!
Sweet ride bro.... no porsche or ferrari I've driven even comes close to the thrill of a sportbike... I track a gsxr1000 myself... i thought buying a porsche would be the end of my riding days, but its really been the opposite... the porsche, while a fantastic car, just showed me how sweet my bike really is...
Yves The 999S is a true piece of art. Something about the Italian/German engineering that is prioceless. I myself have a weak spot for the Ducati Monster. Enjoy it an be safe.
Congrats - I am VERY jeakous of that. I have only lived with 2 women in my life - my mother and my wife - and they both had the same answer for "I'm getting a Ducatti." "NO WAY." Sadly my dad messed it up for me by taking a pretty good spill on his bike when I was a kid. Every time I get in the mood to buy one, he shows me his scars.
Congrats!!!!!!
