How long do the brake pads and clutch last on a 2003 996 C2 cab? Will the brakes last 2 years? I've done 8,000 kms over the past year, including 1 track day driver training and some "spirited" driving the other days.. hehe.. thanks Chucksta PS: I'm thinking of going over to the dark side.. i can hear the Lambo Gallardo calling... with its sweet V10

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Obviously it depends on your driving, but my experience is (with normal street driving and occasional spirited driving, but no track time) that front brakes should last 20,000 miles more or less, rears more, and the clutch should last a long time if you drive properly (but can go out very fast if you burn it up slipping it especially with high revs).
