Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks in advance- Can someone please let me know the gap and correct torque specs on the spark plugs for a 1999 996. I am performing my 60k service today and believe it is similar to the Boxster but want to make sure. Thanks! Regards, Jim 99 996 99 Boxster

22 ft lbs. I'd probably tighten them by turning them about 90 degrees after finger tight but, that's just me. You may want to check out the DIY section at Renntech. There is a lot of good technical and mechanical information there. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index...nt&code=diy_sp b-man
