Greetings, I just purchased a membership to rennlist and have finally gotten around to posting some pictures. Ive actually been browsing through these forums for a while, and have gained so much incredible information. My current car is a 1999 996 coupe which Ive had for a couple of years and have thoroughly enjoyed (my first Porsche). In its stock configuration, the car is wonderful, but being a horsepower junkie the car did not stay stock for long. The beginning of this year, I purchased an EVOMS supercharger and installed it myself (I really wanted to get to know this car well, and there were no local installers near me). Big thanks to EVOMS for a great product and I particularly want to thank Mike Myers at EVOMS for his help with all of my installation questions. The only other mods are H&R springs to lower the car, clear side markers, and a few carbon fiber interior pieces. All I can say is the car is simply amazing with these few mods- very fast and very agile. I am definitely a satisfied customer, but of course my story doesnt end here. A few weeks ago I came across a low mileage 2001 996 turbo and pulled the trigger. The car should arrive this week and I will be sure to post more pics then. Im just itching to get started with the turbo mods- will have to give EVOMS a call soon. Although I have also been reading so many good things here about Stephen Kasper and Imagine Auto and may also give him a call. Glen

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Welcome, Glen! You're a rockstar -- your first post is an introduction with PICTURES , you've already PAID FOR MEMBERSHIP , your car looks pretty sweet and it is MODDED with a SUPERCHARGER!
Glen, nice ride! I would swear that you live in Summerlin based on your pics. And from those pics, it looks like right down the street from me. Are we neighbors???
Dell, good eye- I live in Summerlin south (Willow Creek to be exact). Glen
I'm in Summerlin Centre across from the Willows. Funny how small the world is!
Welcome aboard!
Hey, another LV member! I sure would love to check out that supercharger in person if you guys have another local meet. I have thought about getting one, too. Maybe seeing it and talking to you could help me decide. The install issues are another factor also. How tough was it to do, really?
AG996LV, Suffice it to say that installing the supercharger in your garage without a lift (as I did) is not a weekend job, but it can be done. The hardest part was probably installing the intercooler plumbing and the water pump underneath the car. The support I got from Mike Myers at EVOMS was definitely a plus. PM me if you want to get together sometime. My 2001 996 turbo just arrived today, so I will be attempting to sell the supercharged car soon. Glen
