03 C2 Cab 12K miles with Bose Xenons 18 wheels Kelly trade-in is about 60K, private party is about 65K. Any idea of where good deal area lies? somewhere between the two?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

That sounds good, but the options would be crucial, as they can add tens of thousands to the base price.
Thanks, the car is pretty lightly optioned with the options I listed above. New 03's were going at around invoice which would have been about 73K or so. So 63K would be a 10K discount for 10K miles plus 1 year older model. Anybody else have a feel where such a car trades these days?
id imagine if you traded it in to a dealer you would get about 55-60 tops regardless of options, the dealer will not give you more for any option unless maybe you have the X51 and thats a maybe
Thanks, but I'm buying, not selling here. My guess is that they bought the car in the 58-60 range, as you suggest. What is the minimum return that dealers look for when flipping a trade - would they hit on 1-3K over their cost? Since this is a (relatively) low optioned car, maybe they would just want to move it. Any thoughts?
well mine is an 03 cab. full leather Xeonon's bose embroided seats 18" LightWeights and just 3 months ago i bought it with 700 miles for 65
Nice deal. That sounds like the target should be low 60's then given 12K miles.
i disagree with dakar-as the options may certainly add tens of thousands to a new car, if you max it out, they add a small fraction of that to a used car. some options, like carbon fiber, may add almost nothing to a trade in or resale. look at how little the x-50 option (18k new) adds to the price of a tt resale.
