Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone in the Long Island area have a good experience with a stereo upgrade? Looking for good installer information. Another month of listening to this "stereo" and I am gonna go with muffler bypass pipes.

POST 2Original post

You can put any kind of stereo available into your car. I would say to check the yellow pages and find a few big auto stereo dealers and go in and see what kind of work they do. Tell them what you want and see what they can do for you. Most of the big shops have been doing these cars for years and can do about the same quality work. You may also ask your dealer what shop they use to do custom installs.

Depending how much you are willing to spend....Rod Birch deals almost exclusively with Porsche and he makes house calls to anywhere in the US. http://www.caraudioinnovations.com/

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanx but I'd think to have Rod go across the country to do an install might be a little pricey.

POST 9Original post

It's funny you say that...I just got an email from Rod asking if people are interested in getting a system installed because he's planning an East Coast trip! You should definitely contact him!

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I actual e-mailed him earlier in the day hadn't gotten a response back yet. But that would be very cool.
