Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK - I don't really car about having the Tail Up / Down Switch in the dash but its a slow time of year and I needed something to occupy my time. $42 and 45 minutes later ... Done! Thanks Scouser for the detailed directions and the great pictures .... http://ljgs.org/.ceemee/pcar/Scouser...index0003.HTML PS - Scouser has a right hand drive. I needed to reverse his directions to get the switch illumination to work.

POST 2Original post

Just turn the switch upside down if you drive on the "wrong" side Actually in the UK this mod is mandatory. The filth have knowledge that our tails lift at 74mph so if they see it up they pull you for speeding (70 is the national limit). But if you have the switch mod you can get away with it saying "Oh, the tail, well occifer I am a posing ego blinging chav and I like to drive round with my tail up. See this ere switch.....I wuz only doing 40 honest".

POST 3Original post

you can always just pull out the fuse and leave the tail up all the time... that's a no-brainer :>
