After being on this board for a couple of months now and really thinking hard about what P car I want, I think I have narrowed it down. The perfect car for me is: 2002 Cab Seal Grey Full leather, black interior Black top Nice to have: - 18'' Turbo Look Wheels, Memory Seats, Bose Sound (incl CD changer), Sport Seats, hard top I just do not seem to be able to find this perfect car... if you see one, please let me know. Finding the perfect car is difficult. Most of these cars were ordered by the original owner with exactly what they wanted in them, thus making it tough to get 100% exactly what you are looking for. IMHO I would list my wants by order of importance and then it is easier to accept something that may not be 100%; HOWEVER, I would not just settle. It gets very expensive to add things that you maybe able to get on the car off the bat, that way you have some extra cash for those mods. Once I determined what I wanted it took me about 6 months to find and I had to drive 300 miles to get it, it was well worth it. My only regret is that I got beige interior and I really wanted metropol blue. In the end it was not much of a big deal beacuse I am 100% satisfied. Good luck with your search!
Here is a quick search I did on Edmunds (which pulls from AutoTrader). There are 31 cars listed (You will notice that a couple of them are Targas). They are 2002 Seal Grey with Manual Transmission (sometimes an Automatic might be "coded" incorrectly and be shown with the manual transmission cars). There are some C4's and C4S's listed. Many seem to have gray interiors and or gray tops. There seem to be some good possibilities based upon your list of needs/wants. Hope this helps.
