Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Have a question for the group. I suspect that I got a great deal on my '01 C2 Cab but have had trouble finding a good comp. It had been traded in to a non-Porsche dealership that didn't know what to do with it. It arrived at the dealer on March of 2001, so it's a hair over six years old. 36,xxx miles as of March 2007. L6A6: Meridian Metallic CB: Graphite Grey C02 Equipped with catalytic converter 236 18" Tires 288 Headlight washer 413 18" Turbo look wheels 424 Automatic heating control 436 996: 3-Spoke steering wheel 437 Comfort seat left 438 Comfort seat right 446 996: Colored Wheel Crests 476 996: Traction control 490 Hi-Fi sound system 537 Left seat with positrol and lumbar 551 Air Deflector (Cabriolet) 601 Litronic Headlights 659 Onboard computer Added by me: OEM carbon fiber ebrake and shifter; OEM dash rings; Lloyd's mats; brand new A5 Sonnenland replacement cabrio top with glass window instead of plastic All service records, all recommended maintenance, new brakes and no evidence of RMS leakage during PPI or recent 30k maintenance. Never wrecked, excellent condition, one small bumper blemish on front. Anybody have thoughts on the going rate? (Let me not taint your opinions by saying how much I actually paid...)

POST 2Original post

I'd say it's worth $35k - $40k, depending on the buyer and your sales skills...

POST 3Original post

So you've already bought the thing, and you just want us to pump up your ego by telling you what a great price you got? OK, I'll go first. Man oh man! You STOLE that puppy! Awesome. I wish I was half the negotiator you are! Dude, you rock!

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, red911c2. It's nice to know that everyone around here is not a *****.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

$34k but I put $3k into the new cab top, so I'm in the ballpark.

POST 7Original post

Sounds like a good buy! Good luck with it. How about some pictures???

POST 8Original post

POST 9Original post

There a million of these babies for sale & you couldn't find any indication of the market? $35k would be close.
