Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I AM ASSEMBLING A 1999 996 AND NEED A DIAGRAM OR PHOTO OR INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW ALL OF THE FUEL LINES, VENT LINES AND EMMISISIONS LINES CONNECT TO THE FUEL TANK, CHARCOAL CANNISTER, EMISSION VALVES, ETC. I HAVE THE FACTORY SHOP MANUAL ON CD BUT THIS IS NOT HELPFUL AS THEIRE ARE NO PICTURES OR DIAGRAMS. THANKS

POST 2Original post

Bean - Welcome to Rennlist. I'll share a couple of "housekeeping" items with you. It is customary for "Newbies" to introduce themselves and post a couple of pics of their car and tell us a little about the car (options, mileage, etc.). Your car is obviously work in progress, but many of us here would be interested in some pics showing the progress of your assembly. Mfletch , a Member here, rebuilt a salvaged car (engine compartment caught on fire) and he may be a very valuable resource for you. In future posts, please turn off the Caps Lock. Text written in all caps is harder to read and usually indicates on a forum that the author is SHOUTING. Now down to business. Here is a diagram of the 996 C2 Fuel Tank from the Porsche PET. I have included a complete list of parts, continued on the second attachment, as a resource. I hope this helps. Good luck with your assembly of the car. Post a couple of pics so we can see the current state of assembly.
