Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for a good DE pad. I don't want something that will eat up my rotors though. Suggestions? Looking for those who have personal experience with pads... not what "you've heard". TIA!

POST 2Original post

i put paged's on my last 996 and they seem to work just as well as my OEM's, got them from the partsbin for like 65 bux i think

POST 3Original post

Pagid RS 4-4 aka Pagid Orange pads hold up well and won't eat rotors. But beware, they squeal like crazy unless you have them well into their operating temp. I don't mind the squeal (which sounds like a school bus stopping). It's a compromise, but then again, I don't really care as long as I get performance out of them. You can always swap them at a track.

POST 4Original post

I have Pagid Blue's on my 996- very good braking capability in DE's and nearly silent. Pagid Oranges (on the RSA) are really noisy- beware! mj

POST 5Original post

Where's the best place to buy Pagid Blue's? I'll need some soon and I think I've decided to try them.

POST 6Original post

I have Pagid Yellow. They squeal like hell, but I now miss it when they don't... Oh, and the stopping power is just great! Greetings, --Pierre
