Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Powder coated the CCW wheels in gloss black and wrapped with Mich PS

No. It's hard to tell from the pics (too dark), but they look like T10s. Cheers,

You're right... they are T10s. The C10s have a more equal spacing between spokes. Nice wheels nevertheless

POST 8Original post

I want a GT3. I want a Speed Yellow GT3. I want a Speed Yellow GT3 with black wheels. Mike, I want your car! Tim.

I vote for you getting another Speed Yellow Your previous one was soooo very nice! Still glad to see you came out of that wreck OK. Carrera Mike, the black on yellow looks great!

POST 11Original post

Mike: You need to take some shots with more light on the wheels to bring out the spoke and contrast details in the centers. Are those your original T-10 that you had powder coated? Cj

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes they are the T-10s(CCW). Sorry Gents. The spokes were visible from my laptop when I was uploading them. I'll try to lighten them up later.

POST 14Original post

Mike- your 911 looks perfect, nice contrast that really sets off the SY.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks! I'll try with photoshop when i get home to have better lighter pix .

POST 17Original post

I love the look, stunning! Thinking about having my centers done black too??? Quick question, did you "dismantle", prep, and re-assemble your rims yourself? Also, I'd love to see my car with the wheels "photoshopped" in a pic if anyone has the ability to do so? Thanks in advance for any help/insight too!

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Tha for all the kind words. Here are some hopefully brighter pix:

POST 19Original post

You need to re-shoot the pics....that photoshop effort didn't really bring out the true beauty of how they look. You did lighten it up a bit, but not so you can really see how nice they are.

POST 20Original post

Great look! How much does it cost to have wheels powder coated? Just curious...

POST 21Original post

Nice. I like the black wheels much more when the lips are kept machined or polished. I think it helps with the definition between the wheel and tire.

POST 22 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks guys. Powder coating in our area averages $85 to $125 a wheel. Price depends on the intricacy of the patern you want. More taping more labor Chuck, I looked at the posted pictures from three different computers here at the house and they all look light enough to see.

POST 23Original post

That looks good... the Oricari (sp) front lip is nice too.
