Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I was wondering if anyone has switched their incandescent turn signal bulbs (socket BAU15S) with the LED type? If so where did you find them? I'm looking all over online but I'm having trouble finding a retailer that specifically references the BAU15S socket . I did find one retailer who looks to sell them but they reference the socket as 7507, is that the ANSI code for BAU15S? Thanks, Paul

try this: pics or ban... welcome to RENN http://store.42draftdesigns.com/BAX9S-LED_p_8-33.html?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi redridge, I came across another post referencing this website but they don't appear to sell the amber signal LEDs, only the 'city lights' with socket BAX9S (which I'm certainly planning on purchasing too)! pics or ban ... you mean pics of my car?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Any chance you have their website address or street address? Are they in Bellingham? I tried to find them on Google but didn't come up with anything.

I don't have a lot of photos of my new (well new to me) 996 yet but figured I'd better post something. I'll post a bunch more once I get her all waxed up and a nice sunny day comes along

Nice ride- I like those wheels; they must be easy to clean. John

Nice car, love the color. It does look familiar. Is that Jaspers car? Enjoy, Geoff

Whoa, small world! Yeah this is Jasper's old car. My wife and I bought it from him about three weeks ago. It's our first Porsche and we're absolutely falling in love with it! We've also signed-up to join the PCA (on Jasper's suggestion). We're looking forward to getting out there and meeting the local members.

You bought a beauty for sure. Lots of events to get out to with the club here in the north west. This is the link to the Canada West Region web site. http://www.pca-cwr.org/ Check out Bobs breafast club and the auto cross events. Let us know how you make out with the Led lights, and don't forget pics. Geoff

We did stop by the autocross last weekend, looked like a lot of fun! We didn't sign-up this time but I think next time we're definitely going to give it a try. Thank you for the local PCA link, I'll check it out, and if I can find some nice LEDs I'll let everyone know ... they're turning out to be pretty hard to find. May instead just go with the silver incandescent turn signal lights. Hope to meet you sometime soon at one of the events. Cheers, Paul

I would recommend the Bax9s city lights, I posted a previous thread about half a year ago after my install. They look wonderful and are still holding up.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
