Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

For those interested, here's what my '99 C4 weighs: LF - 616 RF - 588 LR - 972 RR - 960 Total = 3136 This is with just less than 1/4 tank of gas, a GT3 driver's seat, GT3 console delete, x74 suspension, snow tires on 17" rims (see pic below).

POST 3Original post

That's remarkable. What is the official Porsche weight?

Porsche's published weight for a Mk I C4 is 1,430 kg (3,153 lbs). Light car! The GT3 seats, 17" wheels, and console delete certainly help.

Yes on the spare tire and tools - no on the air compressor. I keep the inside pretty clean - I don't think my sun glasses or the one CD contributed much to the weight! For comparison, my '73 913 weighs in at 1975 lbs (without a spare tire and 1/2 tank of gas).
