New car, but the PCM doesn't even turn on. I took it to the dealer for the "two CD's to program the NAV" and they say that the CD and amplifier are dead because of an improper jump start. Does this happen often? They also stated that they commonly see new cars have dead batteries from the trip from Germany. I had to jump start my M3 the day after I picked it up so they may have something. I'm waiting for the proper parts to come in from Germany, which should take a few days.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
