Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently put in some clear corners which came with yellow bulbs (I believe they have to be yellow for legal reasons.) The yellow light looks a bit odd to me, anyone try putting clear bulbs in their clear corners? The blinkers are in the headlight unit, so they are still yellow lights.

POST 3Original post

You can get silvered bulbs, still amber, but have reflective surface on outside.

POST 4Original post

I put LED bulbs in mine. They are white when they are off, so you can hardly see them. The are amber when they are on.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What I meant to ask is would they look better if they were white when turned on?

POST 6Original post

I think US law requires them to be amber, although I have seen them in white before. I think they look fine in amber...

POST 7Original post

I think they look fine stock, didnt all this clear marker, tail light, etc fade out in the late 90's or at least the early 00's?

POST 8Original post

With a small DIY project you can have white LED bulb for street/parking and amber LED for turn.
