All doors lock and unlock but the trunk will not open. When I push the switch by the driver seat I can actually hear a clicking noise but the trunk is never released. Is there something I can check? Tia, G'

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Try having someone push/gently bounce on the frunk lid between the badge and the lip while you activate the release. The emergency release cable is behind the right front inner fender well. You have to remove the wheel and fender liner to get to it. Sometimes you can see it through the side marker light hole looking in with a flashlight and hook it out through there to pull it.
How would pushing on it will help? I'm willing to try anything! I'll be looking for the manual mode as well Thank you
Sometimes the latch will stick 1/2 way open. "Bouncing" causes it to release. It could also be that the latch has slipped down the mounting screws and cocked a little. Another thing to try is to see if you can get your fingers under the lip after your helper activates the latch release. Sometimes the spring in the latch has stretched and is too weak to push the hood up.
Thanks fpb11! I will try both when I get home tonight. G'
