Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Last night, I was enjoying the beautiful evening at Cafe Milano in Georgetown when I saw this beautiful grey C4S with wyoming plates. I immediately recognized it as Dan's car (DanJK). I live near him and drive past his house (and car parked outside) on a weekly basis. We have talked about getting coffee, but we both have young kids and have never gotten around to it. In any event, I excused myself from the table and walked across the street to introduce myself. Sure enough, it was Dan. What a small, small world.

this thread is worthless without pic..........

POST 3Original post

Please forgive me for handing my keys to a valet. My only regret was not seeing TD's new ride. I usually hear it before I see it as it, and I always rush to the window to see it spin by.

It is hard to eat with the helmet on, but I have learned to adapt. Here are pics of my car, which is far better looking than I am.

Yes, I am the darker, plumper Stig.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

By the way, I almost was hit while taking my mother-in-law to her hotel in Virginia after dinner. I was heading south on 34th Street in the furthest right hand (eastern) lane turning right on M street. The mini-van in the center lane (there are two right turn lanes) pinched the corner big time and almost came into me. I laid on the horn and threshhold braked to make space. No contact and I managed not to blurt out any obscenities or hand signals with mother-in-law in car. close call

POST 10Original post

Beautiful car! And I 100% agree this is a very small world

Hey, which event was that, I see "Bull" in the background.

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks fellas. The first two pics were taken by our own "Programmatore" at the "Gathering of the Faithful" in Reston Town Center

POST 16Original post

Dang, Mini meet at Cafe Milano and I wasn't invited?

POST 18Original post

Trust me, his ride looks really fresh in person. Sorry to hear about your near miss TD. Georgetown has gotten stupid at night. We should do a NW DC meet some evening.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the compliments. Yes, an evening meet sounds good to me. I can even offer to host and we can have drinks and cigars in my back yard . . . I have lots of parking.

Dang, I just drooled on myself. Beautiful car. The closest my car has gotten to Georgetown is Rosslyn (I like garage parking). I'm trapped in the suburbs LOL. We need another Rennlist gathering for the DC area.
