Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

After searching for about 6 months I purchased an 02 C4 Cab and will be flying to DC Sunday with my son to pick it up and drive back to Ohio. PPI came back flawless and I am stoked. I'll be sure to post pictures. Basic information is the car is black/black with about 15,000 miles. From reading some of the posts I know there are some concerns about the low mileage, but I guess I am going to have to take the risk. According to the shop that did the PPI the car looks brand new. It took a while, but definitely worth the wait.

POST 2Original post

Good for you and welcome back!! I am sure that it will be a fun fun frive!

POST 5Original post

Congrats on your new P-car, can't wait to see pics. Does it have the removable hardtop? I love mine for the winter- these cars like to be driven.

What's so great about the hardtop??? I drive mine year round with just the softtop without any trouble. It's perfectly toasty and I still get the sweet sound of the engine.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Winters in Ohio are a bit rougher then Maryland but I get your point. My 99 had a plastic rear window so the hard top was nice to have. If I can get one reasonably priced I'll probably do it. Not likely to drive in winter since I have an 01 E55 that would be a better choice when the weather gets bad.

POST 9Original post

One of the best things I did when I picked up my 99 996 was to have one of my sons share the day with me. Can't wait till you post pics to share in your excitement.
