Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2001 C2 with a Nav system. I am going to take the plunge and upgrade to the Kenwood DNX 7120 or 8120. How can I tell what kind of radio I have? I don't think it's the Bose because I don't see Bose labeled any where. Here is a picture. They guy who is going to do my install wants to know if it's an "Optic" system or not. I have speakers in the dash, doors, and rear panels. Thanks so much for the help. I feel like an idiot asking this but did a search and could not find a specific answer to my question. Paul P.S. My interior does not look orange like this. It actually looks very nice and is a deeper looking brown. I think the flash makes it look orange.

MOST (fiber optic) system started in MY03 - so you do not have it. You have Porsche's NAV system PCM (1).
