Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I came upon what looked like a potentially bad accident involving a white 996 in the left lane of southbound Interstate 5 in San Diego near the Sea World exit during a down pour on Saturday. The passenger door was severely smashed and it was hard to tell what was going on with the passenger, a blonde woman still in her seat. Another car was involved, but I did not get a good look. I hope that everyone was ok. Any news? I felt guilty for not stopping at the scene, but it looked like the driver was standing out of the car and walking without injury. I also did not feel that I could safely pull over without endangering myself or adding further to the accident. For what it's worth, I called 911. (And boy, was that worrisome. The first call, I got a busy signal, the second a phone menu in Spanish, followed by minutes of ringing. When the dispatcher answered, she tried to transfer me to CHP, but that was busy, too, so she took down the information. I think about 10 minutes elapsed before I got off the phone and it wasn't even clear that help was on the way, yet.)
