Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Im looking at a 2001 911 cab in Texas with VIN#WPOCA29991S650703. If anyone can get the Carfax I would appreciate it. Thanks,D.S.

POST 2Original post

Okay, let me be the first. It is against the rules of this forum to solicit or provide a Carfax. It is also against the terms of the carfax subscription for someone to provide the report to you. You should know better! You're just about to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a car and you're being cheap on a $20 carfax subscription - get real and go and spend $20 that will save you a lot of money on making a big mistake!

POST 3Original post

Here we go again...... Carfax is very unreliable, almost worthless...but to each his own.

POST 4Original post

This is really getting old.....Here we go again

POST 5Original post

I just shake my head and wonder how many times we have to slap idiots that are too cheap to go out and spend $20 on a subscription. Someone deserves.... ... all the grief that they inevitably are going to get from this forum for posting this thread. Can we have a sticky on the top of the forum telling people not to ask this question?

Just like Yogi Berra once said... "De ja vu all over again!"

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay Already, I GET IT. I havent had a 911 for a while and I saw someone else ask for the carfax a while back, unfortuanately I didnt look at the replies or I would have known better.

POST 12Original post

Yeah, you're evil! But good luck with the purachase and we hope to see you back here to share knowledge about these great cars!

POST 13Original post

I think i have to agree. For like 25 bux you can get 30 unlimitted carfax's. Just pay the $$$ Carfax may be worthless, but try selling a car that has a dirty carfax!

POST 14Original post

Actually Gant, this thread made me think of you. I wonder if the vin number of you submarine has shown up any new activity yet.

POST 15Original post

It won't until after they buy it and register it.

POST 16Original post

well, exactly. I was wondering if it had resold yet. I was placing my bet o it being flipped at auction.
