Sometimes I forget how fast the 996 is when the Cab top is closed. Exhilerating(sp?)!

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

LOL I wish could feel what you mean. Oh well next year is coming soon
I know what you mean. Getting tired of seeing triple digits all the time.
I've done over 140 with top down, 154 top up. I need to get out there and find the limits, but it's a little difficult to find a place where you won't be seen. I once was pulled over at the top of a canyon and the Sheriff Deputy said had 3 reports via cell phone of motorists complaining of speeding silver Porsche.
I sometimes put the pedal to the metal at the PCH...but only for about 20-30 secs and the fastest I have hit was about 145MHP......with the top down.......lovin it!! but I got to be careful...for the cops and I also don't want to become a PCH Ferrari Enzo case!!!
I need a track near me! I've only done 120+ in mine... Everytime I think of the tickets I've already gotten from the bimmer, and the 2 driving classes out of 5 that I've used up, my ***** shrink up in my *** and my foot eases off the pedal...
Tried it once with the top down ..but damn near cost me my new hair plugs
151 indicated, showed 142 on my GPS before I had to back down.
I can only get up to 110+ before I pucker and back off. Just too risky around these parts.
You got that right! I found out the hard way driving my new purchase home to Texas about your (Virginia's) "wreckless driving" laws...... It would have been a normal speeding ticket in Texas.
148 on rt 5 heading from la to sf (urgh, i mean a private race track, not public roads ). Wanted to go further but ran out of open road. And I was only in 5th gear.
What, people actually phone the cops about other people speeding?
Love it!! Top down riding is simply the best.
