Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Had a quick look underneath, am I missing something? The only way to access the bolt on the drop link is to take the strutt out ?

POST 2Original post

My car doesn't have stock suspension, but on the PSS10s, the piece on the shock is threaded. There wasn't a nut on the other side.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't understand what you mean sorry! Here is a better image

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Oh sorry, you mean it screws into the shock rather than a nut on the otherside you undo?

POST 5Original post

That's affirm. You will have to grind down a wrench to make it thin (I think it's 18mm) and then just unscrew it from the shock. No nut on the other side to hold with another wrench. So it's not bad!

I'm pretty sure I was able to slide normal wrench there.

I was too but I guess you could grind one down if you don't wanna chance rubbing the rubber boot and possibly doing some damage(I don't know how but I'm sure some DIYers could find a way)
