Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I bought the correct 997 master cylinder as a upgrade. I had a shop go to install and I need a new line from master to abs pump. the master is 997 355 910 30 the line I am told I need is 996 355 313 suffix 04 06 90 93 maybe more. anyhow it seems the line is on back or from Germany for a month and I have a track day next week. does anyone have this part or a work around? I was told there are 10 mm to 12 mm adaptors ? Is that all that is needed to adapt the current 996 to 997 master cylinder?

I'd call Pegasus Auto Racing and describe what you need for an adapter. They have a zillion adapters for brake lines. If they don't have it I am sure they can point you in the right direction.
