Since winter is on it's the way here in the North East area, as well as having been over-saturated with media, I have found this link as a way to escape.... the Porsche Museum in Street View mode .( https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@48.83...!6m1!1e1?hl=en ) of course followed by a tour of the museums secret warehouse .

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It's quite a museum....my son and I visited it for his 16th birthday two and a half years ago... We even rented a 911 for four hours to drive on the autobahn. It was weird passing a police car and not have him chase you. But if you are ever out there the Mercedes museum is even better. The way the weaved world history with developments of their cars was fantastic.

I'd have to agree, the Mercedes display in Sindelfingen is more interesting in some ways. I thought BMW World, in Munich, was the least interesting of the group. Passing a cop in an any car at 200+kmh is cool, too...but probably cooler in the Porsche, lol. God I miss travelling for work! The Jaguar collection was pretty cool, hit their display on a weekend in the UK once.
Yes, I remember many years ago driving on the autobahn, at speed only to have some flashing lights behind me, pulled to the side, and watched a four-door Mercedes...literally scream by,,, the entire driving experience seemed almost surreal.
Went about 2.5yrs ago too. I was suppose to go back last march for a 911manufacturing plant tour, then onto the N-ring for a full day on the the track. But then world ended so maybe ill do it in 2022. I was doing about 120mph in a q3 on the autobon and got passed by a mini. It must have been doing 160. Also range rovers can move in europe, deff the fastest suv over there.
My best was a short run at 260kph downhill with the wind behind my back in an A4 on the A9 somewhere between Ingolstadt and Munich....it was a little freaky passing all those trucks and slow pokes, lol. Generally, my gas bills on the rental cars are sky high there since I am always trying to make up time and take advantage of every no limit zone I can....I've also managed to get a few tickets (the speed limits on the valley bridges always get me, lol). Whatever you do, don't speed in Switzerland...5 over will get you a ticket there. In general, though, I am very thankful that generally in Europe, they warn you about the speed cameras, lol.
