Hi everyone, I just wanted to provide a brief introduction. Porsche has been my favorite car company since I knew what a Porsche was, sometime around 2nd grade. Now a Junior at Purdue for Motorsports Engineering, I have a real desire to work for the company in the future. In the meantime, I keep busy with school and focusing on a YouTube channel I started with my friend which reviews cars for a more basic and humor-oriented audience. Vehicle-Virgins has been doing extremely well so far and is even helping pay for my school! One of my most recent videos I did with my good friend was on my childhood dream car: a 996 Turbo (though I would prefer the coupe! ) I was proud of this video and wanted to share it with the 996 community in the hopes it would make some of you laugh. I'm the one who pretends to be illiterate in the passenger seat at the beginning If people enjoy them, I would be happy to post more Porsche videos when we get a chance to drive them. And of course, I'm also curious to know what actual owners agree/disagree with in the video. Spence

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

What video?
here it is...
Awkwardly charming.
Not even a turbo can make two guys in a cabriolet un-weird.

Agreed
San Francisco, white porsche convertible, two skinny hipsters driving around. Why is your video missing this song? Did you forget to add it? The Blue Oyster Bar - YouTube
Momma always said...if ya ain't got nuthin' nice to say...
I was kind of disappointed that neither dude had "ironic" glasses, ANY plaid, nor a bushy Hipster beard. Just as it is in prison, Spense, love from Rennlist is very different and often uncomfortable.
I've rated every car video that I have seen to date and yours comes in at number 261.

Spence, welcome aboard Nice to see another Purdue engineering grad on here. I will buy you a beer at Harry's next time I'm in West Lafayette.
I liked, I don't know why some others react so harsh, I would recommend : A shot of the engine. also the cluster panel. Go inside the vehicle, show the interior with more detail, head room, leg room, don't forget to tell your height and weight to have as a reference, as well as other possible competitors to the same vehicle, IF ANY in this case.
That's fun, entertaining. Beats the arrogant European driver car reviews that are everywhere. Where did you guys get the white turbo too review ?
I don't think any of the "reviews" have been overly harsh. The fact is, if you want to succeed in the "entertainment biz", you've got to have very thick skin. I think "awkwardly charming" is just about the most positive thing that could be said of the video. By today's standards (youtube - where anyone/everyone can and does post the most inane videos) it's mediocre at best (as are 99.9% of everything posted there). The idea is good, the execution needs (a lot of) work. Don't give up, but don't quit school either !
