Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guess it's another benefit of being a Targa owner...

POST 3Original post

They are hoping you'll plop down $100k+ for a new one... 2002 Turbo - Basalt Black Metallic / 2003 Carrera 4S - Speed Yellow / 1955 356 Continental 1500 - Rust Red

POST 4Original post

yeah they like to send my wife promos for new 911s. Over 13 years I think they've spent all the profit they made from the original sale

POST 5Original post

nice got the same for the new macan. no wonder these things are spendy....look at the promo material they send out!

POST 6Original post

I wish they would have kept it simple with a lift off roof you stow in the trunk. Looks fantastic but needlessly complex. I guess today's Porsche owners can't be bothered with manually taking your Targa roof off...

Anything that keeps a putz like Jeremy Clarkson from swiping your roof and tossing it into a ravine in the dead of winter is a good thing in my opinion

POST 8Original post

Mine came today! I am on my 3rd 911 and my second Targa. First Targa was a 1969 E. My 11 year old Targa just won me a 1st Place Ribbon against all judged cars 2001 to present at the Denver Concours d'Elegance in Denver. See my posting for details. My only chance of the new Targa is to be announced 6/22 (PCA Raffle) John '03 Targa

POST 9Original post

I receive a pair of Bang & Olufsen headset a couple of months after buying my wife's Audi Q7... Just because they wanted me to "enjoy" the sound quality that their new vehicles have. LoL

POST 10Original post

I got tons of crap from Porsche in 1993 advertising the "new" 968

POST 11Original post

That didn't go as well as Porsche wanted!

POST 12Original post

Hey, if it wasn't for the 968, we wouldn't have had what we needed to rebadge our gen1 Boxsters...so it wasn't a total loss.

POST 14Original post

I think the 968 was one of there best looking front engine Porsche.
