Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Often wondered same. Anecdotally it seems to be just shy of rare, very shy of unicorn. This Glacier sold in 2017 for $38K, color helped: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...11-carrera-39/
How many different whites did they offer? Regarding your question I'm not sure but I have a 2001 cab in glacier white, blue interior and top with 11k miles and I'm just waiting for the $60k mark to sell mine!
We need a picture of said car.
I had reached out to Porsche through their website to ask how I could obtain info on number of Dark Teal Metallic cars built - back when I bought the car. They responded and said, essentially "congrats on the car but we don't disclose that data."
Production runs http://howtoporsche.com/911-series/9...r-and-version/ 996 Paint color codes https://www.porscheclubgb.com/legacy...aint_codes.pdf I can't find anything on how many cars were produced according to paint color code. I don't even know if that data exists, except maybe from Porsche Stuttgart.
Yes I found total production numbers I know glacier white is rare and not offered in many years I had never owned a white car before so I’m extremely proud of my recent buy the color really does look like it has frost in the paint plus the fact it’s an aero car as well looks like a future collectible

After looking at the color/yr chart I guess I need to go look at my title and see what white my 01 is, apparently it's not glacier like I thought!
