The wheels could stand to be refinished on my new 996, and am torn which direction to go with this body color. Would love to know what the community thinks. Stock Body color gold bronze Gray Black

I just finished mine in my body color - Meridian Metalic Silver...
OP - To my eye the stock shows off the wonderful color. The black with polished rim contrasts nicely and looks racy. The body color wheel washes out the overall color of the car. Gray makes the wheel look small. I would tire (pun intentional) of the bronze. The right shade of gold would be dramatic and may make the car show a lot of rose gold. Since you have a dark tint on the windows, I say black for the visual punch up.

Do you want to do mine
What look you going for? Racy, classy or just a change. I like a little racy myself. I like #2 myself though those rims are gorgeous stock.
I voted body color, but would like to see something more in the bronze family much like the smooth panel above the roof line, I think it's referred to as arum .....think washed out adobe in the desert, should be in the same range of depth as the Paladio (cool color btw) certainly a matter of taste, just have to determine how much 'pop' you can muster

I was thinking something a little racy, to contrast the soft classic color a bit.
Racy, then that leaves a lot of options. Im big on contrast and pow. Been to enough Porsche shows where after a while Im thinking please give me something different. You sold on just these choices?

Nope! Mine were a TON of work - but I think worth it! I was really looking for a set of "Classic II's" like you have, but the field I found mine in only had the "10 spokes".. hahhahah

was thinking more like this Nepal Orange http://www.elferclassic.de/technik/f...ack-orange.php
I see you're thinking "Racey" but this is a 90's car at heart. The Palladio/Palladio with silver rim is 10/10 in my book.
