Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a hardtop, stand and cover that I'd like to purchase that's located in Los Angeles. I'm in St. Louis. FedEx Freight quoted me $967 yesterday (with a 60% discount, apparently) and that's a non-starter. Hoping to figure out something under $500, but I have zero experience here. I'm semi-hoping to luck into someone heading out on a road trip, but know those odds are low. What are thoughts on the best/most efficient shipping? I'm in no rush. Appreciate any advice. -Mike

POST 2Original post

You could try something like USHIP, you can put as much information you have available and it will send you multiple quotes. I have never used it myself, but a friend that used it to ship a motorcycle a while back and said pricing was reasonable. I don't know that it will be under $500, do think you can get pretty close to that though.

POST 3Original post

It's due to the dimensions rather than the weight. I would wait to find one available locally.
