There was a thread (I looked for it but did not find it) within the last week or so - asking about a PPI in NJ. If I was you and interested in a specific car, get the current owner to take it to one of these shops. (obviously you'd pay for the inspection). Then if you like the result of the ppi, arrange shipping to Florida - better still, arrange to pick it up and drive it home.

If it's the yellow one, I've been advised by multiple people on the BMW forums to avoid that dealership at all costs...
