Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone here have any experience w/a an adjustable air suspension kit for the 996? Example (ignore cheesy sounds) - Porsche 911(996 C2) with AirREX digital air suspension system - YouTube / www.airrex.com.tw Are they any good/durable? Thanks, Yamil

POST 2Original post

That's just too getto IMO. With the 996 prices rock bottom I wouldn't be supervised to see one with candy apple paint, wire spoke wheels, and hydraulic shocks that makes the front hop.

POST 3Original post

Why? I'm assuming you do not plan on any performance driving? All the fanboys love that kit.

POST 4Original post

I really like the air suspension systems on my large SUVs, but on my 996? Not so much...

POST 5Original post

"Lambo doors" would be a nice addition to that car...

POST 6Original post

A friend of mine has one of these systems in his VW tiguan. Honestly, it does not look right... does not feel like the ones that come standard on Tuareg/Cayennes. In addition to that, the compressor, which is mounted in the trunk, is real loud when he is raising the car. Personally, i would not install those in any of my cars/suv.
