Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

While doing some work on my Targa I discovered that there are two missing bolts/screws and I need help figuring out what they are so I can replace them. I have included two photos. The first one shows the location of the missing bolt. In the second photo, you can see what it looks like (red arrow). I pulled this pic off a thread on Renntech, which is why those silver bolts are circled. Thankfully I have those!. It appears to be a torx head bolt. I've been scouring AutoAtlanta but am having difficulty finding it. Any ideas?

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is the bolt I need, but I still can't find the part number on any diagrams. The thread measures approximately 10mm in length. Anyone recognize it?

Look on AutoAtlanta - try here http://www.autoatlanta.com/results.p...=911%201998-05 scroll down, just below the red "tow strap"... Looks like it may work. Also look on page 10 of ^^ this ^^ link - about 1/2 way down Or here... https://www.stoddard.com/restoration...ers/bolts.html

What link/page are you referring to that is for page 10?

I don't remember offhand - you just have to scroll through. Stoddard doesn't have as many listed as AutoAtlanta

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
