I currently have a set of 19" BBS wheels, love the look of them but do not like the 19"x12" in the rear. So, I am looking at a set of 19" wheels. These are 19x8.5 +50 up front and 19x11 +58 in the rear. This offset seems different then what I have normally seen for the 996 Turbo. Will these wheels work?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is your car a Turbo, a 4S or a narrow body. The Turbos and 4S have a wider body. On the narrow body the standard wheel size and offset is 10" wide with a 65mm offset. With the 58mm offset the wheels are already 7mm further out and with an 11" wheel this could be another 1/2" out so you may get some rubbing. And the 19" wheels may further aggravate this (while also giving a rougher ride)..Some of this depends on the size of the tires too.years ago I had a set of wheels with a 50mm or 55mm offset and they rubbed even after rolling my fenders.
