Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am starting to work on trying to bring the 996 back to life. Battery is dead so I cannot release the front hood to do the heater core and charge the battery. Surely, there is a remote release somewhere? Thanks in advance. JKC

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK. I saw that briefly and suspected. Is there a harness or part to connect the new battery or jumping car too? I am at work now but it seemed like a uniquie plug-in. Thanks. JKC

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I think that helps. It is hard to tell scale or sizing, but I am guessing the red "fuse" is long enough to get clips onto it. Thanks. I'll take a look this weekend. Regards and appreciate the help. JKC PS I guess I should have Googled myself!
