Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Apparently my car had been flashed a few years ago with the EVOMS tune. Is there a way to revert back to stock settings? I know in previous Audi's I have owned that were GIAC chipped I could switch tunes with my laptop. The reason I ask is because my car has been idling funny lately (after muffler bypass pipes) and I would like to eliminate the possiblity that the EVOMS tune is a culprit. BTW: It's only a 100-200rpm fluctuation.

POST 2Original post

Contact EVOMS... but i highly doubt the ECU Tune has anything to do with your Idling Problem... EVOMS should be able to help you out... And yes you can Remove EVOMS and Revert back to Factory Programing, EVOMS should be able to do that for you no Probs

POST 3Original post

Not wanting to hijack this thread but when you buy your car second hand how would you know whether it has been flashed or not? Pete

From the previous owner.

POST 5Original post

Unless the PO tells you it was flashed, I don't think you could tell.

I didn't think it had to do with my idling issue. I mainly want to know if I can switch it back and forth if I want to.
