Good score pat. I tried a B&M short shifter last year and was disappointed enough that I put my stock 996 shifter back in. The 997 shifter is supposed to be "just right" Maybe I could check out the action on that shifter sometime?

Absolutely. It would be great to meet a local enthusiast. I always seem to be away on business when the PCA events take place. I was leery of the B&M's notchiness so I am glad this came along. I'll post some feedback once I get it installed.
