Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Folks, I've got the 18" turbo twist wheels on my car, and have just acquired a genuine gen 2 GT3 Aero kit, including genuine bootlid/spoiler. It will be a while before I could afford to change the wheels, would anyone have a photo of an Aero kitted 996.2 with the turbo twist wheels? Cheers Keith

POST 2Original post

I wouldn't kick it out of the garage... Incidentally, these photos are from a thread here on Rennlist entitled "Pic request: 996 Aerokit 1 car with turbo twists," so someone may give you the "search" lecture. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...bo-twists.html

Thanks, that does help, and I found those photos. However mine is a facelift model, and was wondering if anyone had a photo of one on the turbo twists. Cheers Keith

Turbo Twist on mk2 w/aero isn't very common as most that have the mk2 models have the Carrera2 wheels on their rides. Good luck with the search.

POST 5Original post

I think it should look good. You put an MK2 aero on a pig it will make it look really good and fast LOL Alp I see your car came out of the winter cover enjoy the weather while It last

Barely though. Sadly I've only driven it a few times as I now commute by train during the weekdays and trying to get my house remodel done on the weekends before winter. I did drive it to Lowes and Menards. Woohoo!

Cheers, I will eventually search for some GT3 alloys, however buying the kit has drained the man fund. Really can't wait to get it here, wanted an Aerokit since I bought the car 2 years ago, but the Gen 2 Kit is very very rare when compared with the Gen 1. Keith

POST 10Original post

I love the MK2 kit - especially the non-taco wing. I realize I'm biased, but the aero kit makes the car look bad-a$$.
