hi I have this set up for sale. This unit is CAN capable for 2003 and up. dealer says does not need a code . Is there any thing else potential buyer needs to know. Becker radio .Bose Amp

I believe the radio has to be set to a specific status to be paired with a new vehicle. This is from a Becker EBay auction " Protect Mode is cleared, can be installed in any Porsche 2003-04 911/Boxter". So to function in another vehicle - the protect mode has to be cleared, otherwise it will not function.
