Hello All, So I have a strange leak that I need to identify. I just bought the car and it had a good bit of maintenance done before the purchase. The coolant reservoir was replace and I am thinking that may be the culprit. It has no signs of leakage around the actual reservoir from what I can see in the engine bay. If is right above the exhaust pipes drivers side rear. Not a big leak, like a few drops over night. The liquid as you see is slightly viscous. Any ideas? I want to take it back to the shop that did the work but want to know where it is coming from.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Definitely appears to be coolant. You should examine the location of the overflow tube. This could just be normal. Take a picture of the top of the coolant expansion tank. Close up of the cap. Report back.

it was a bad reservoir, they are replacing it no cost. Oh, and as a bonus I am getting a new passenger side window regulator. Have driven it all of like 50 miles. 🤦🏻♂️
Nice to hear! Now, go enjoy!!!
