So I have an opportunity to pick up a black '03 C4S for $37.5k. It has 41k on the clock, and the only blemishes are some small rock chips on the front, and a small nick in the wood steering wheel. Black/natural brown, wood steering wheel, heated seats, new brakes and tires. No RMS or clutch yet. But, one owner. Please don't remind me about Arnee's car! Thoughts? Nick

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Mileage? Condition? The simple answer is that there's always a better deal if you are willing to keep looking. The real question is if this a car that meets all your search criteria and that you could live with for however long you plan to keep it? If it's a local car then I guess you can get service history as well. The deal breaker for me would be the Savannah Beige as it's not my cup of tea. Hey, if you're not busy feel free to stop by this weekend as I'm finishing up my DIY painted bimperettes and console.
I'd ad 5k and get a turbo but thats just me...
I'm having a hard time seeing the pics....you said "natural brown" interior? For 37.5K, it should be in immacualte condition, with plenty of documented maintenance history ; if it hasn't been documented/maintained like the "person which we do not mention"s red C4S, then I say lower the price to $30K or like PasPar stated, if you can go 5K higher, then look in the TT marketplace.
