Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

lol in his head... it was going to be amazing. I think the same thing when i'm doing it to my Porsche. sometimes it works, sometimes it looks horrible and I leave those pics off the thread lol

POST 5Original post

Offer him $3,500 cash & have a lot of fun at C&C and randomly showing up at PCA events with it.

Great suggestion, and the price is just a tad more than the price for PSE.

POST 8Original post

Amazing. I bet the engine is cheaper to fix as well. Curious how it would handle

Probably like a 1988 Fiero.

POST 10Original post

I thought the 996 already was a poor man's 996.

POST 12Original post

If there's an upside, it's that this car is more likely than most to catch fire.

But the headlights changes everything in terms of handling characteristics.

POST 14Original post

I haven't seen this one yet and I really don't know how I feel it.

POST 15Original post

say what you want, but the body work on this thing actually looks halfway decent.

POST 16Original post

I love it...a little bit of everything. When life gives you lemons, make a Fiero-GT2RS-Z3-Miata (and keep it yellow). And that reverse NACA duct in the hood, priceless.

POST 17Original post

That guy could have used any 911 headlights he wanted, and he chose 996 headlights. This car should be immortalized as the "proof point" that is the final nail in the coffin for all the fried egg naysayers.

0 to 60 in 60 seconds... I really enjoy people's passion for creativity

POST 21Original post

If you pulled the original V6 out,, and installed a 2014 All Aluminum 4.3 out of a GM truck, it would have about the same power as the 911. The Fiero chassis was relatively stiff, but the body shape made them twitchy as heck at high speed.. It looks like this might have fixed that.. The 1988 had unique suspension, it looked more like a Porsche underneath than a Citation.. LOL I've never driven a 88 but they were supposed to handle very well.. For a economy American sports Coupe.. Gotta give props for the effort..
