Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've noticed that the passenger window doesn't always drop down when the door is opened, causing the window to stay outside of the rubber channel and the door is difficult to close. Is this a window regulator issue? TC

POST 2Original post

Tons of threads on here about this issue. If you pull the handle, you should hear the motor activate and attempt to drop the window. Once it does that, you should be able to push down the window with your hand it should drop the 1in or so. If you hear the motor activating and the window can be pushed down, then yes, new regulator time. If you can't hear it activate at all, then you have a microswitch problem.

POST 4Original post

Or it could be a door latch issue. I would bet on the door latch.
