Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I was hoping one of you guys with a 02 or later car can measure the face plate on the in-dash cup holder? Mine is cracked and broken. I purchased another one and it was missing. I have a good machine shop and want to fabricate a good alternative. I am looking for the thickness, height and the width of just the face plate (the part that has the drink picture printed on). Any help is much appreciated. I am open for it in standard measurements, but would prefer metric. The more accurate the better. Thanks a ton in advance. Jacob

Damn. I didn't even know that there was supposed to be a faceplate. Mine doesn't have one. Sigh..

Here you go. It's a more complex piece than I had imagined when examined in detail. You got your work cut out for you to get that cool linear gear to work smoothly I'd say. Overall length was 188mm https://photos.app.goo.gl/v3f9kDnJwzeubDXo8
