I'm thinking about refinishing the "Carrera 2" wheels on my 996 and was debating on going a different color while i'm at it. I've never been a fan of black wheels on light colored cars so I'm thinking about a grey or something along those lines. Anyone have any pics of painted 17" wheels on a silver car? (or any 996 really) my car for reference

Honestly....If it where me I would save the painting a get 18's....Really changes the look of the car immensely, of course assuming you like the look of larger wheels.

im on the fence. The only reason id get 18�s is to accent a factory aero kit should I upgrade to one some day. Id really like to go down that road but not sure if its feasable in the near future considering the current garage project to-do list. Figured rather than driving around on rough 17s, a fresh paint job might do the trick. maybe i�ll just plasti-dip them for the time being?...
