Has anyone added a Shift Light to there 996 and mounted it where it can be seen clearly without having to look at the tachometer ?
I am so use to having one in my muscle cars as it saves having to look down while I am concentrating on what is in front of me.
I have done a search and found nothing.
Here's a picture of my Mustang setup, but of course I am not going to do something like this, I want something a little less obvious and not make the car look too much like a race car. Plus I want the light a bit more in front of me but not too much it will blind me:

I am thinking black case, but what colour lights ? Not sure about mounting it on the top of the dash unless I have no other choice in order for me to notice it, but in reading the thread it seems the lights are bright so that could give me more flexibility of placement.
