Hello all. I am new to this board. I'm in the final phase of my search for my first 911. I've narrowed it down to an early 996. I'm currently pondering a 2001 C2 Cab. The dealers says it has the following items that I would like some explanation for: - club coupe specifications - tourist delivery - tourist delivery preparation Can anyone elaborate on these options?
Not sure about the Club Coupe Specs, but the "tourist delivery & prep" simply means that the original buyer took delivery in Germany. When the trip to Germany ended, he took the car back to Porsche and they shipped it to his USA dealer for him.
After MUCH searching on Internet I found a description of the "Club Coupe Specification 249" is Bose CD Changer / Xenon Lighting. Hope this helps.... I have those but not totally sure of accuracy... It was a $3300 option so you would think easier to get a descrip. Miller
